There are many ways to relieve anxiety and we are about to have a look at some of them, however if a person is always anxious it is important to discover why they are and to consider professional help, but that is only in extreme cases.

Relaxing Leafs

The best way to relieve anxiety is to take your mind of whatever is causing the anxiety and that can be achieved in many ways. Most of these ways are actually good for you as well which is just wonderful news and just that fact gives you a bit of a lift.

Humans are all different and in three hundred or so words it would be impossible to identify a way for you personally dear reader to relieve your anxiety, so please do take the next few paragraphs as a guide and apply what you want to do or would like to do to them.

I love walking and apart from when there is torrential rain or blinding blizzards I walk. It relaxes me, makes me feel a little fitter and as the say clears my head, ok I get a bit irritated because my leg hurts a bit now and then on long walk, but on balance I would say that walking relieves any anxiety I have.

What is great about walking is that it is free and as I said makes me a little healthier and if I have something on my mind that is bothering me I can either mentally pick at it or do what usually happens and get distracted by a beautiful view. Walking anywhere is great but if you are lucky enough to live next to the sea or a forest then go for a walk and if you come back with any anxieties I would suggest aromatherapy – which I also love if not then maybe a visit to the doc but I bet after a walk you wouldn’t need to relieve anxiety because you won’t have any.
